Students can check their PSEB +2 result there now. However, even though PSEB result 2016 12th class was postponed, authorities had released the PSEB 12th result 2016 merit list later in the evening on Friday (13th May) – without actually declaring the results! According to the merit list, girls have beaten the boys in Class 12 examination results, with their pass percentage being 84.03 as compared to 71.12 for boys. Again, good luck to all students!
Unfortunately, the good step taken by PSEB to calm students down by saying they will announce the result on 13th May did not prove helpful as they missed the deadline. Authorities had announced, in an official statement, that the PSEB 12th Results 2016 would be announced on Friday and that too in the first half of the day, but this did not happen for reasons that are not clear yet. The PSEB class 12th examinations were held through the month of March, 2016.

How to check PSEB 12th result 2016:
STEP 1: Keep your Name (as it appears in your certificate) and date of birth handy;
STEP 2: Log onto the official websites pseb.ac.in and punjab.indiaresults.com;
STEP 3: Click on the tab which says ‘Results’ and a new window will open that says Punjab School Education Board and there is a box to fill your data;
STEP 4: Type in your details as asked carefully and that too without any mistake and ‘Submit’;
STEP 5: Your results will be flashed onscreen. Check them out;
STEP 6: Download your PSEB 12th result 2016 on your computer. Also, take a printout, if possible, but this will serve only for personal use and for all official purposes you require the original marksheet and certificate.
About PSEB: The Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. In 1987, the Vidhan Sabha amended the Board’s Act to grant it autonomy.
